 Hello, my name is Colby Medlin, and this is my Blog.

 I have chosen to do my blog on games because of how much there is available to talk about video games and also because I personally love video games. I started playing video games when I was young and have probably spent most of my free time in my life playing them with friends from all over the world, one of whom I still play with today and we met each other online when we were both in the 6th grade. I personally play the Xbox line of consoles because they are what I grew up with and never really cared much about playing a PlayStation. My vision for my blog is to be able to explore more into the world of video games and go more into depth about the culture of games, how video games affect the world, the gaming industry, how video games take place in people's lives, and overall, just how video games take a place in our world. 

I hope that I will be able to present you with a good and enjoyable blog to read and hope that you too will come to love video games as much as me or at least understand through my blog why and how they are a big interest to a lot of people.
