A rant on Call of Duty

Hi, today I will be writing a small rant on the Call of Duty franchise. 

I'm going to get straight to the point, the Call of Duty producers and publishers such as Activision and Sledgehammer, have not been producing the newer Call of Duty games up to the standards that they have set in previous titles, and seem to show more of an interest into things such as microtransactions. this has caused many loyal fans such as me to lose interest in the game franchise and start to develop the feeling that we don't matter to the developers and now have begun to think about abandoning the franchise and branching out to others where we feel more appreciated. a game company should listen to their fans and take notes from them to see what true fans would like to see in the game instead of only listening to those that have gained a high following such as YouTubers, pro players, pro teams, game reporters, and others alike. I still play the game because of the time and money (a lot of money) that I have invested into the franchise, but I must admit that I am considering the idea of not playing Call of Duty anymore and instead, playing other video games such as Battlefield. I do truly hope that the developers will soon start to be more appreciative of the fan base that they have developed and will start to listen to the more common gamer, such as I, and improve the future titles that they produce.
